The UH-1 Huey was first produced in 1950s through present day with over 9,000 units manufactured. In 1963, the Huey made its first appearance in Vietnam and by the end of the conflict, more than 5,000 of these versatile ‘copters were introduced into Southwest Asia. The Huey was used for many different tasks during Vietnam, as a Medevac, command and control, air assault, transport and gunships, the Huey is considered the most widely used helicopter in the world. Our exclusive UH-1 Cap celebrates the legacy of the Huey with a formation flight stitched across the front part of the cap with a symbolic rising sun used as a back drop. UH-1 Huey is embroidered on the bill. Embroidered on one side of the Cap is two palm trees and on the other side is a Huey silhouette embroidered onto a camouflaged section.
